So, as some of you may know. I have gone back to church in the past few weeks. Shaun & I have been taking the missionary discussions & Shaun has decided to be baptised. In fact, he's doing so on June 6th. Very exciting. Shaun is such a good Man & I feel so blessed to be marrying him in 4 days! Church has been great, I love the people in our ward. I didn't really ever think I would go back to the church, but I truely feel that this is the only way I could have ever gone back. I used to tell Shaun all the time that he'd make a great Mormon, lol!! His family thinks it's weird & they don't understand. His Grandmother asked his Mom if this meant that he was going to grow a beard... Hmmmm.... But, my family is being very supportive & happy for us, & come Saturday they'll be his family too! I've often heard that sending a Missionary into the field will bring many blessings to the family at home, & I truely believe that. Here's the letter from Austin after I told him we were getting married & Shaun was getting baptised. Enjoy!!!

your email was awesome it made my day! im so happy now to know possibly that im doing some good out here that the lord will bless members of my family. awesome. i know this is what you wanted to be a nice little mormon family im so happy for you and shaun. well i leave on tuesday to Arequipa.... anyways, love you, maybe you will be ready to be sealed when i get back.

ReplyDeleteI just want to throw out how happy I am for you and Shaun. It has been a testimony builder for me to see the blessings that come to families with missionaries. Congratulations on evrything and for making these commitments in your lives. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers!!
